Fate Undiscovered Realms

Been busy playing Fate while Kelvin is sleeping. I'm so excited when SO transfered the file and installed it in my PC a few days ago. Yippee! I'm currently at Level 10 Local Hero. As much as I want to play all day, I have to take care of Kelvin. Of course, he's still my priority and will always be. I'll finish the game even if it's not as fast as I have finished the first one. I'll keep playing, together with the Sims 2 until the much awaited release of Diablo 3. I'm so excited!!!

.. My friend called me while I was eating my dinner asking for a favor. She's going on a 3 day out-of-town trip to Bora. She's asking if I can replace her for the meantime as a private tutor. I'm still thinking if I'll accept it or not. I'm not sure if my busy sched as a mum can handle such responsibility for 3 consecutive days. I'm also not sure how long my patience would last to those grade 1 brats. The pay is good, and I need the money for, you know! SHOPPING! I can't decide yet. I have to ask first my mum, SO or even my sister if they can take care of my baby while I'm away for a couple of hours. Think.. Think.. Think..

I'm tired. I'll post my recent digiscrap LO's soon. Goodnight stranger...

Let's Multiply!

I'm planning to start my own online biz as soon I settle on what products to sell that are affordable without sacrificing the quality. I already have contacts to my suppliers, just need to verify some things and ask a few more q's before I can begin.

For starters, I'll use free known websites such as multiply, ebay.ph and the likes to sell my items and eventually get to buy my own domain name. My sister will also help by selling my I-can't-decide-yet products to her officemates and friends to gain good feedback which I definitely need to gain more prospect buyers.

I hope everything goes well and hope it will push through within the next month or so. Wish me luck everyone!

Here's my latest LO's: Kelvin's baptism at Our Lady of the Abandoned Parish Church followed by the reception held at Cafe Kapitan in Marikina City (forgot where exactly) last December 8, 2007, which is also the feast day of Immaculate Conception. Thanks to all those who came by even on short notice.

xoxo,
seraphim

Claustrophobic baby?

Went at the mall with my S.O. and son to buy a few of his essentials. Kelvin is all grumpy the whole time we're out and don't want to be seated in his stroller. We have to carry him alternately inside the supermarket. He fell asleep but cries whenever we tried to put him in his stroller. It's so difficult to carry him because of his weight and without any support from his carrier or sling. I wish he could walk. Hopefully within the next few weeks he'll be able to learn how to balance and then walk.

Anyway, I'm kinda worried.. okay, okay! I'm really worried because I'm not sure if my baby is suffering from claustrophobia. Everytime we're inside the elevator he's squealing like there's no tomorrow. All the other people inside were trying to amuse him but with no luck. This is the first time it happened. The last time we're out, he's just quiet and observing his surroundings. I'm worried that in the long run he might find it difficult to breathe in enclosed spaces. I don't want him to suffer that nor the fear itself. I just hope that he's not comfy with that-kind-of-feeling inside the elevator or it's just one of his grumpy days.

Tired and Sleepy

11:04pm - Manila time

I'm tired and sleepy as usual, but still managed to blog. Sheesh! Woke up 7-ish because my baby kept on inserting his index finger in my nostrils. His sign that he's wide awake and that I have to feed him, that he wants to play with mommy. I'm not an early riser thus, it's really an effort every time I have to wake up early.

Around 9, his daddy came by to help me take care of our son. At the same time, I also need to help mum in the kitchen. It's been months since our helper left so I have to make an extra effort. It's becoming a chore to wash the dishes that I hate doing.

Short time later after bathing and feeding lunch to my first born, the exciting part comes in. I also have to clean our room which includes sweeping and mopping the floor, declutter the mess on the tables, and inhaling the dusts which mind you - I'm allergic to. When all is in tip-top shape, that's the only time I can take a bath and scrub the dusts off.

After dressing up for 5 minutes, I have to take care of my son. I forgot to tell you that my S.O (significant other) left while I was taking a bath because we had another argument (that's a different story - sigh!) One of our silent treatment days. *double Sigh!

Good thing my baby dozed off around 5pm so I had an hour to rest. I'm also thankful that even though me and S.O we're not in good terms all day, he still managed to come here again in the evening and take care of our baby while I:
1. eat dinner
2. wash the dishes (again!)
3. clean and sterilize feeding bottles
4. bathe my baby

before I can take a shower and hopefully call it a night.

After he left past 10pm, I had to check my email, and blog! Oh shoot! I almost forgot, I have an online work..

I've been working on this laptop remotely for quite some time and I'm still bothered that I can't remove that friggin' trojan! If only I could reformat my client's laptop. I'm dying to do that! Gotta go now.

Online Shopaholic

I'm one of those people who uses technology to my advantage. I'm a bummer for more than a year to take care of my baby. Thanks to the people behind the internet, I was able to work online which is now my source of income. It's actually where I get my shopping money. Yippee!!

Since I don't get to shop (in malls) that often, I buy stuff online. Coming from an impulsive buyer's POV, I didn't know that online shopping is so much F-U-N! I'd often surf the net for endless baby stuff, and mine too! But since I'm overwhelmed with motherhood, I spend so much time drooling over those uber cool baby things that I'd like to buy instantly. It's so tempting to know that in just a click of a button, those items can become mine. All mine!! Bwahaha!! :D

Anyway, I would like to share again my digiscraps. Thanks for viewing.

xoxo,
seraphim

Bye-bye The Sims 2

It makes me sad just by thinking that I might remove my The Sims 2 collection in drive D just to free up space. It's taking more than 9gb of space and I need it badly to save my other important files. Boo hoo! I know others may think that I may sound "mababaw" but for a self-confessed The Sims 2 addict like me, it is indeed a BIG deal.

I installed all of it just now if in case I decide to remove it (for good. *Sigh) later, I can still play the game until my next PC reformat. I know that it's just an installer, it's really no problem if I delete it right? I mean, I have all of them in dvd's if I want to reinstall it in the future. I just have to look for the other missing dvd's though (it's here somewhere.. keep looking!!) But, the thing is.. it's taking so looooong to install all 14 expansions + the original if I'm going to use the dvd format. Plus, I'm not sure if it's all working. Oh what the heck! I need the 9gb space badly! *presses the delete button; running ccleaner*

There! All gone.. I'm going to bed. I think I might get sick :'(

It's C-C-COLD!

It's already 12:12am and still raining because of the storm "Helen". My baby's fast asleep, I'm feeling tired as usual but I can't sleep. Is it because I'm thinking lots of things? Or maybe I'm just hungry? Oh well, I'm ALWAYS hungry..

Been listening all day to Boyce Avenue's rendition of Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis. A perfect LSS (last song syndrome) for the rainy weather.

"But I don't care what they say
I'm in love with you
They try to pull me away
But they don't know the truth
My heart's crippled by the vein
That I keep on closing
You cut me open and I.."

** edit: Waah! My PC's 80gb hard disk drive is already full, uhmm.. sort of! I partitioned it approximately 50gb for drive c: and 30 for drive d: Of course, I'm using drive D to store all of my important files, mp3's, pictures, videos, everything! The sad thing is I only have 293mb left. Waah!!! I need a bigger hard disk space *Sob!

Pop! art

I was so happy that I came across a tutorial from http://tutorialoutpost.com/ regarding pop art. I'm a huge fan of pop art because of its vivid colors. It's a lot of work, and it took me a couple of hours perfecting it, but I really had fun. By the way, I used photoshop cs2.

from this:
to this, voila!
I know! I know! It's not even close,
but I think it's quite good for a beginner. hehe! ;)

Taking care of my baby 24/7 stresses me out... A LOT! I really love my son but I think I also need a time-out, even for a couple of hours. How I wish!
